C&G focuses on dealing direct with customers

17 March 2011

From 31 March 2011, we’re making a change to our business:  C&G will no longer be operating in the financial adviser market; we will do everything direct with our customers instead.

The reason for the change is that Lloyds Banking Group, of which C&G is part, has a number of mortgage brands, and wants to focus each brand on what it does best. In C&G’s case, our key strength is looking after our customers direct. Other mortgage brands within the Group will still work with financial advisers, but at C&G we will continue to serve our existing customers, and welcome new customers, in our branches, by phone and by post, supported by our website.

  • • If you are thinking of taking out a C&G mortgage, then you won’t be able to take it out via a financial adviser – just
      come to us direct instead.
  •
  • • If you already have a C&G mortgage and you want to make a change to it in the future such as borrowing more,
switching to a new mortgage deal or paying off a lump sum, if you would previously have gone through a financial
adviser, we’d just ask that you contact us direct.

If you have any questions about this change, go to our question and answer section. Alternatively, you can talk to your financial adviser who also knows about the change.
