On 10 May 2013 we changed the range of savings products we offer. We are no longer offering C&G savings accounts but are offering Lloyds TSB Savings accounts instead, through our C&G Branches. These changes are part of the process of setting up TSB as a new bank.
The creation of TSB follows a ruling by the European Commission (EC) in 2009. The aim of the ruling is to increase competition and customer choice in the UK banking sector through the creation of a new bank.
Cheltenham and Gloucester (C&G) Savings is a division of Lloyds TSB Bank plc and of Lloyds TSB Scotland plc, which are both part of Lloyds Banking Group. In line with the ruling, Lloyds Banking Group is preparing part of its business, including all C&G Branches and most C&G accounts, to form TSB as a separate bank.
All new Lloyds TSB Savings Accounts opened in C&G Branches from 10 May will also move to TSB later this year, this will be explained to you when you open a new account.
You can use the links below to access information about your account features. If you have accounts that are included in the move to TSB we will have written to you to let you know.
